Happy Birthday George Washington!

I have always been a huge Washington fan. In high school I was lucky to visit Mount Vernon and loved it. The Library of Congress has put together a bibliography on Washington. First off, let's start with billheads and letterheads with a graphic of George.

Fay & Cox - engravers and Grand Central Station

Augustus Fay and Stephen Cox were the firm partners. I was not able to find out much about the pair. Jay Last's The Color Explosion lists the firm operating from 1871-1872 and making calendars and book illustrations. One engraving was that of Grand Central Station.
